Gooooood morning Gabby fans!! I had been hesitant to report the weekly weigh in for Gabby, because she was staying stubbornly at a mere 38lbs. Those of you who follow closely know what a challenge her stomach has been between starting off emaciated in the shelter in May at 27lbs than a battle with giardia, than we discovered food allergies. Although dogs with spinal issues will always battle with IBS to some degree, many small meals over these last six weeks of special food...TODAYS WEIGH IN....drum roll please....... 43.2lbs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Woop Woop!! Shes got about 5 more to go to be at a weight id like for her length and height, but we are getting somewhere! Finally! Slowly but surely! She still battles with irregular bowl, but its manageable at this point and she is gaining, which is all I care about.
