Got 10- some things you may not know about me. 1. Sailed on a 70ft yacht from Bermuda to Saint Martin. I realize more today just how dangerous that was but am very happy I got to experience that 5 day journey. 2. I started working at 10 delivering Newspapers. Ive held a job ever since (im including my current status as a job- its one of the toughest yet) 3. I put myself through a private high school by working as a roller skating waitress where I also learned how to tie balloons. 4. I crashed 23 balls at The Plaza and Waldorf in NYC. Some of the best times of my life. 5. I moved 28 times in 37 years. This is the longest time I have stayed in one house-hence all the holes in the walls :) I have a tendency to rearrange often. 6. I performed in 103 NY parades on my skates with the American Flag. It took me five years to get into the Macys Thanks Giving Day Parade. 7. I started paying my mom $300 a month for rent at 16 8. Started my first business at 16 called Move Your Ad as a roller skating advertiser. I was able to negotiate $175 an hour for some jobs. Turned down my biggest contract offer because I didnt want to be known as the Quick Lube girl. 9. I once sold a newspaper subscription to a blind man over the phone while working as a cold caller for The New York News Day. This is one of my favorite sales experiences. 10. I went to Paris by myself and wish I would have back packed during that venture but my dad and sister talked me into pre-booking hotels. Still an amazing time though.
