Got a buddy who spent the last 2 years fighting and waiting for a new kidney. 25 years straight tomorrow, I think, with coin in hand to prove it. Congrats buddy I say (: He’s enjoyed the last 4 months of their hospitality, and I’m happy to report that he’s out, with new kidney, but says now he craves ice cream & whiskey, lol. Really. Go figure. “It’s been years”….yes Sir, which led me to poke at his weight, then he lifted his shirt to expose his GIANT CROW’S-FOOT SCAR (they say’s the smallest they’ve seen in their career, lol), while proudly patting nope. Enough said there. He’s lucky to be alive, and he knows it. Geez, we ALL know it. Free will….sure, but I don’t have the heart to remind him. He tells me they call him the MILLION DOLLAR MAN, cause of their investment, and he boasts about the nickname, but knows not why it bothers him. I KNOW WHY IT BOTHERS HIM, but he JUST got a new kidney, see…and I JUST don’t have the heart to worry him. It sucks you guys. It really sucks, because they miss their home and really need their animals, but he said they were worth it, because they waited 2 years ): and “I hope YOU got a lots of property, if you need to wait longer”, he jokes, but “I AIN’T LAUGHIN, DAMMIT, I AIN’T LAUGHIN”, and can’t explain why…cause he JUST got a new kidney, see…and I JUST don’t have the heart to tell him ):
