Got a call this morning from a CPap supplier I never heard of before. I asked if they were associated with REMWorks, a store where I can go to try masks on... Where I asked my script to be sent. The rep said they werent associated with REMWorks. She said they got the script from my doctor. I said, ive never heard of you. She said, I will cancel your order, but I will hold onto your script because I think you will be sent back to us. I said again, I have never heard of you. She said, We are UPMCs preferred equipment provider. Explains a lot. UPMC medical system must tell their doctors who to use to keep money in the system! I want to go to a provider of my choice who can fit a mask on me in person! The lady was a bit evasive, said they might supply to REMWorks, that theyd ship straight to my home... That an order had already been placed and could be cancelled... That is why medical suppliers are to be watched with great skepticism. Hoping no random mask size shows up at my door. Angry, as I was very specific about where my script should be sent! Even gave the fax number!
