Got home from Toronto General around 7:30 tonight. What a long day but well worth the trip. The doctors couldnt believe how well Del looked and was doing. He said that Del was the sickest one on the floor when he came in and they are still amazed how well everything has gone so far. The valve is good for 7-10 years and they will monitor it more closely then the last one. One of the nurses hardly recognized him because he looked so well. I gave the nurses Andres home made Thank you for saving my papas life card and they just melted. They couldnt believe a 6 year old little boy made such a wonderful card. They asked if they could hang it on their bulletin board and I said sure he would like that. They couldnt wait for two of the nurses that worked very closely with us to see it on their shifts tonight.
