Got home safe from Creation Fest 2014! Thanks for all the prayers church fam! Started out the trip with a tire on the trailer un-tread itself and tear off the fender but we got it fixed up quick. Went swimming at a small lake/large pond on the first day. Had two lovely ladies ask me if they could be baptized! What a rad privilege! Love you Kaylee and Renee! Weather was hot and humid but everyone had great attitudes. Music was rad and very fun/encouraging. Speakers were very Spirit-filled and God convicted/motivated us alot through them. After every teaching (2-3 per day), we had a digest where we talked through it as a group and had great participation from everyone. Had a baptism at Creation with three of our guys! Levi, Anthony and Nate! love you doods! We went with Lighthouses high-school youth and meshed well. No major drama and some lasting friendships made by all! We had our money box stolen (with over $1500 in it) and some cash from several kids tents. Filed a police report. This was a new experience for me. In 17 years of youth ministry, Ive never lost the youth/churchs money. Very humbling and formative in my attitude this week. I shared quickly with everyone how Satan was trying to steal my joy as well! But God won out in my heart and I was able to have some great surrender and worship in the midst of the trial. True story! So, overall an amazing time. So blessed to have been able to spend the weekend with rad brothers and sisters! Big ups to Mike Robison, Levi Eaton, Josh Tucker, Hailey Wall and Cheyenne OConnell for being great leaders and servants of the youth! Love you guys! Also, shout out to all my beautiful young peeps: Ashlynn Bacon, Aspen Bacon, Jonah, Kaylee Mowery, Renee Peters, Bryson Bollar and all the rest! (please tag those I missed!)
