Got into a debate last night. Not even a debate, I was just being inquisitive. Im TIRED of this Im going to date a white boy bullshit because i lost attraction to black males mentality. Lets not get it twisted, you like who you like..what ever. Lord knows Ill date me a Russian girl in a second..but Im not gonna down play my sistas neither. Theres been a large increase of young ladies having that mentality of I want a white guy because brothas do me wrong mentality. I hate that shit! I hate it because its not genuine. Dont sit there and down play your brothers because your not mentally mature to know what type of brother you should be dating. Also, yes, it holds a lot more weight to me when I hear this because brothers are already behind the eight ball. There are some good brothers out here trying to get at you but yall dont want him. Hes lacking your ideal preferences. Man get over that shit. People wonder why im attracted to older woman. Most of them have matured to that state of mind where they can readily identify a good brother when they see one. They dont down play brothers. I genuinely asked this girl, what wrong with me. Am I not attractive? Do I not have goals? Is my income not above the average person our age? In fact do I not make just as much as a college graduate if not a little more? Why do you even mess around with me of thats the case? If I wanted a wanted a future with you, then I gets its pointless. Im just a tool right? Guess what, she had no real answer to my questions. Listen, stop that shit my fellow sistas. Just because you cant readily identify a good dude when you see one dont mean all brothers are bad. Again, you like who you like, but dont play brothers just because you got hurt by being attracted to the wrong type. Thats on you. I respect genuine feelings, I dont respect emotional bullshit that gets turned into reality and truth. No! I get it, yall been hurt. Im nit giving you full blame, but come on! I know you got trust issues but how are you actually going to get to know a brother if you dont have a full conversation with him to see what he about. Forget words, whats he doing now? Where is he trying to go with it? How does he treat you and Im not talking about the attention he gives you on fb and text messages. Wake up and pay attention to the right things. If you cant find one then maybe its because your not ready for a good brother yet! Matter fact even in general, maybe its you that need to change in order to attract the right males. All Im saying.
