Got summoned for Jury Duty. -- and now, a rant: The reality that those who hurt and take from others end up having no responsibility for their actions and being celebrated and encouraged by the community around them - some choosing to ignore the ugly truth, few blissfully ignorant to it - makes me sick. Truth seems irrelevant. Perhaps thats what the justice system is for though - the accountability given when its time to take responsibility for what he/she did. Forced responsibility because someone forced their will over someone elses, changing a person/place forever. A group of people to be that conscience that says I know what happened, but its not okay - - - - hmmm...maybe I shouldnt have been selected for this...
