Got the news of the second friend in two years with breast cancer who will also face a mastectomy. Both of these women are very healthy eaters, active and thin. As I have not always been the first two on that list and certainly not the later, I wonder why them and not me. Then the inevitable question, am I next? All that I can say is that Im going to be praying for my most recent friend facing this challenge and I am going to do my very best to stay on my current course and do all I can to prevent it for myself. Ladies, treat yourselves right, get out there and get moving, eat right and dont forget your self check too- early detection can save your life!
