Got the opportunity to look around for Chaetopelma karlamani Vollmer, 1997 goo.gl/AH9BZ4 while in Cyprus. Unfortunately it was very difficult searching in 40 degrees heat. There where many burrows and retreats under rocks and especially in the walls of the Σαλαμίς ruins in Ammochostos Cyprus. I did find one very big burrow under an ancient stone but the burrow was very deep and difficult to get the spider out for photo. I have added photos taken by Bayram GÖÇMEN goo.gl/xTvBXz of the actual spider from the exact location as the habitat photos. I must say I have yet to see better habitat photos then these! They are living in a very special and ancient place.
