Got to see BHIC twice--once at Worlds Fair Park (with Damian Marley) and at The Orange Peel (with Tom Morello). The Orange Peel is, next to the Down Home, my favorite music venue. At one point in the show, Ben came out in front of the stage, sans mic, and the crowd shushed so you could hear him. Stunning. Then Tom Morello (Nightwatchmanin that night) joined the band and absolutely shredded a guitar on Dylans Masters of War. At the Worlds Fair Park, Bens solo on Faded was easily in the top 5 live solos Ive ever seen. And Ive seen Page, Gibbons, Iommi, Rossington, Collins, Livgren, Watson, Medlocke, Vaughn, Bradfute, Wilder, Dharma, Caldwell, Winter, Necko, Haynes, Blake, Rice, Wilson, Brown and a bunch of others Id have to check the ticket stubs on. The solo on this uns pretty good to, with that playful journey into Kashmir and all.
