Gotta go vote now. Ill be voting for some Democrats for County positions and a straight GOP ticket for State positions. Why some Democrats? Because thats about all that runs in County positions here. Qualifications to win a County election are pretty much that one must be a Conservative DixieCrat .. Blue Dog Democrat .. Democrat in Name Only .. whatever .. and a long time Henry County resident. Theyll dump on you in their campaign posters if you are only 3rd generation or so. Best it is if your family was here back when George Washington was a 2nd Lieutenant. Henry County residents voted overwhelmingly for Mitt Romney. Tennessee State .. Republican controlled now and it will remain so. Yankees have a hard time trying to figure out our politics .. but no problem . . we have a hard time understanding what they are saying. ;-)
