Gov. Shettima receives Wakil, DG NEMA Gov. Kashim Shettima had this afternoon received the Minister of State Power Hon. Mohammed Wakil who was at the state to flag off the distribution of relief materials to internally displaced persons on behalf of the Federal Government. The Minister said the President sent them to the state to commiserate and condole with the Government and the good people of Borno State over the incessant lost in the state due insecurity bedeviling the state. He said that the Federal Government had last to weeks approved 60MW transformer for the state and also assured the state that his Ministry is trying its best restore power to the state. The Government thanked the Federal Government for sending delegation to the state and thanked the delegation for coming despite their busy schedule.
