So.... Hobby Lobby at the Supreme Court. Some saw the date as significant: the Annunciation. Its also the date of the destruction of the One Ring. Let us remember that the Incarnation was a miracle of grace, but was followed by the uncertainty of Joseph.....the poor conditions of the birth of Jesus....the foreboding prophecy of Simeon....the flight into Egypt....the fearful journey back to Nazareth....and the rest of the story. Earthly relief is uncertain but through all of that, God was in charge and helped move all things to ultimate redemption. Its possible to lose this case and then Christians will have to make a choice. The move towards state control and tyranny is evident. There is no guarantee that things will even out. With the rise of Muslim influence, we may find ourselves betwixt a state that hates religion and communities run by jihadists who hate Christians and liberty. All Im saying is that the promise of God is eternal, not temporal. There are no guarantees about a society that is favorable towards Christians but there is a pledge from God through His Christ that we will triumph in the end.
