Governance goes cyber: Aam Aadmi Party initiative Bringing creative ideas to governance Aam Aadmi Party has gone cyber to make it easy people to access politician and officials and get the work done. AAP MLA Somnath Bharati is testing the fully function model in his constituency Malaviya Nagar. They have launched a site aapconnect to ease the governance, one portal to manage all grievances. People of his constituency can reach out their representative with following 3 ways which will ultimately handled by this site. 1. AAP connect box – These are the drop in box placed in the constituency where you can drop your complain. And it will be registered to the site and handled. 2. Helpline - If you call to the helpline number 8588833443 your complained will be registered with the site by a AAP volunteer. 3. Log on a new complaint yourself - You can directly go to site and lodge the complaint in aapconnect This site will generate 3 SMS one to the user for the reference, one to MLA office, one to officials of concern department. This SMS contains a reference number through which the user can trace the status and progress of the complaint. Till date to solve their issues citizens need not to take rounds of the governments offices, mostly resulting in failure. If AAP succeeds in this initiative, it will be a huge relief to the people. Kudos to Aam Aadmi Party for introducing such a creative solution to a common problem faced by almost every citizen. We wish you all the success in your initiative.
