Government of Pakistan Ministry of Education, Training and Standards in Higher Education Training of the Youth is High on Our Agenda “Baleegh-ur-Rehman” Speaking at the inaugural ceremony of international conference on the application of molecular biology in medicine and agriculture organized by Quaid-e-Azam University, the Minister of State for Education, Trainings and Standards in Higher Education Eng. Muhammad Baleegh-ur-Rehman said that education is critical to national development. Skilled and trained youth can always change the destiny of a country. Unless and until we are equipped with modern education and latest technologies we cannot compete with the world. Our government is committed to provide more training opportunities to the youth under the national internship programme 50 thousand fresh graduates would be provided training opportunities. They would also be given a stipend ten thousands rupees a month. Similarly, MPI has been given fresh guidelines to provide extra training opportunities. The Minister appreciated the efforts of Quaid-e-Azam University for organizing such a wonderful event. He added that such events would provide opportunities to the people around the globe to visit and appreciate the scientific work which has been done by this nation. It opens several avenues and opportunities for all students to exchange their work and experiences with other nations. It brings together scientists, researchers and scholars from universities, biomedical and agricultural research institutions, making the conference a perfect flat form to share experience, foster collaborations, and evaluate emerging technologies in molecular biology across the globe. The scientific programme paves a way together visionaries through the research talks and presentations and put forward many thought provoking strategies for translating new research advances into tangible clinical benefits for managing various diseases. In the end the Minister thanked Quaid-e-Azam University and its Faculty for providing manpower to the various institutions including civil service. He said “Academic atmosphere and serenity of this university is praiseworthy. Being the top ranked university in the country, it has always been among the headlines with regard to development and progress and our expectations from this university are the topmost.”
