Governor Fayemi will deliver his 8-point agenda in his second - TopicsExpress

Governor Fayemi will deliver his 8-point agenda in his second term. Dr Fayemi’s government has 8-point agenda that is tailored towards reducing poverty and attracting investment to the state. But most of these good programs will be totally covered by his opponent because they are used to blindfolding and manipulating us with chicken change. Ekiti has lost some of its identity as a fountain of knowledge under PDP, now the APC is ready to give us something to be proud of. They have started to implement a civilized style of development based on attractive programs. They have just spent the past four years to dig the foundation knowing the deeper the foundation, the stronger the development; that is the reason why things seem wrought as at now but very soon they will take us to the showroom where the whole world will see the beauty of Ekiti State. Ekiti still need to learn to support the government that will create genuine opportunities for all. In theory, the government is to prepare the state for the future. It is to help make the unknown, known. But we have to ask whether we really want our future to be meaningful or not. If yes, we should stop thriving on our past failure and the excitement of uncertainty. We have spent most of our precious time on wishful thinking and unrealistic expectation and in an awkward situation where we simply do not know what is going to happen next. Until we change this attitude and learn to explore, discover and put ourselves through some more realistic process of life education; we will always do nothing besides making ourselves more vulnerable. Believe it or not, this government is loaded with many gigantic development schemes that they will deliver in this second term. We have seen the failure of many previous governments to keep their promises to transform lives but today they are the one making bad noises about Dr Fayemi administration; though it is very hard to notice any significant work in a society where everybody is blowing their own trumpet about everything without much to show for it. However, the administration of Dr. Fayemi has started building a new foundation in which Ekiti can build on. We just need to change the mentality of wanting everything immediately when we need to focus on the big picture of what we all want Ekiti to be We have very little leaders who actually think about others. On the other hand, before the colonisation, the leaders were all about the people; I believe that is what governor Fayemi is bringing back to our society through this 8-point agenda.
