Governor Jonah Jang led faction of the Nigeria Governor’s Forum has begun moves to reconcile aggrieved Governors over the outcome of the NGF election. Akwa Ibom State Governor, Godswill Akpabio who stated this in an interview with journalist after their meeting in Abuja added that issue of reconciliation and peer review is aimed at deepening democracy. A 5-man committee, headed by the Katsina State Governor, Ibrahim Shema has also been inaugurated to interface with National Assembly on the ongoing review of the constitution. Briefing newsmen after the meeting Ondo State Governor, Olusegun Mimiko said the forum also appealed to the Academic Staff Union of Universities(ASUU) to end their warning strike in the interest of the nation.
