Governor prays for well being and prosperity of people of JK on New Year Jammu, Jammu 01: N. N. Vohra, Governor, has extended New Year greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir and prayed for their well-being and prosperity. In his message of greetings and good wishes the Governor wished the people a very Happy New Year and expressed sincere hope that 2015 shall usher in sustained peace, progress and prosperity in the State. Speaker, Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Mubarak Gul today arrived Jammu here this afternoon. The Speaker interacted with a cross sections of society including members of social and trade organizations. The Speaker greeted them on New Year and hoped that the year ahead would usher the State in new era of development, peace and prosperity. The Inspector General of Police Kashmir, A. G. Mir greeted all ranks of J&K Police and the people of Kashmir on the eve of New Year. In his New Year greeting he wished that the New Year may usher in prosperity and peace to Kashmir. He lauded the people of the Kashmir, J&K Police and security forces for their contribution in creating atmosphere of peace and security in the zone.
