Govt commences the establishment of sugar factory As part of NDC 2012 manifesto to accelerate the establishment of the sugar processing factory, p40 Government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Marubeni Corporation of Japan to start the establishment of a 10,000 to 30,000 hectares sugar complex and Estate in Savelugu in the Northern Region. This desire is established in the context of ensuring accelerated development for the Northern Region, through the provision of alternative livelihood for the people. Signing the MoU Hon.
