Grab your tissues! Friends, every week we showcase our animals in a video in the hopes that you will share far and wide so that maybe someone out there will become a guardian angel for one of these animals. This morning as I sat making todays video, I let the tears pour as I listened to the lyrics and looked at all of these faces over and over again. These are the lucky ones; the ones that still have a chance. There have been so many before them who have met their hour of darkness and did not make it through. WE are their voices and their angels and I know just how hard it is to go on some weeks. Its draining and frustrating and emotionally exhausting but without us, who would they have? When things get too tough, just stop and remind yourself that you are the lucky one. You are the one who was blessed with the ability to see these innocent souls in a light that so many do not. You see their value, their pure hearts and the chance at life that they deserve. Thanks to all of you who continue to step up for our Harnett animals each week. We know your pour your money, your hearts and your souls into helping them. You give up your clean cars and your spare time to save them and its because of all of this that so many of our animals have received that second chance. In other counties and other shelters across the country, there are animals ending up in some shelters who are not quite as lucky. They dont have a group of volunteers that rally together constantly to help them like our Harnett animals do. So for being so great, THANK YOU! Many of the animals featured in this weeks video are URGENT HOLDOVERS and need out as soon as possible. Please help us to share them far and wide.
