Graded 95-98% from 5 different appraisals. Purchased from the estate of a 77 year old gentleman. This was handed down from his father in the 50s and was kept in a cabinet in a temperature controlled environment all of its days. One family owned since Oct 28 1938 according to Glen the Historian at Browning. This is a Belgium made Browning with a set of barrels. There is a numbers matching 30 barrel that is full choke and a matching no SN barrel that is 26 and modified choke. Both barrels are an exact patina match and appear to have been with the gun since new. Both barrels are solid rib with the crosshatch work on top of the rib. This gun has been to 5 different independent gun smiths and has graded 95% or better at all 5. The only things keeping this stunning shotgun from a perfect grade is a small 1/4 scratch down by the SN, a couple of scuffs on the wood and some light scratches on the barrels under the pristine forearm from when assembling barrels. Has original factory supplied FN buttplate and stock is full length. I actually purchased this fine firearm with the intent to use it, but have since been talked into listing it here and selling to a collector as opposed to adding any more wear. The patina on the bluing is rich and all original. I have added a ton of close-up digital quality photos here, with nothing to hide. Please PM if you have any questions, need additional photos etc. This gun has no apologies or nothing to hide. Phone number is (618) 559-9473 You must be 21 years old or older to buy this.
