~~~ Graffiti & Vandalism Tips ~~~ We understand that graffiti and vandalism downtown is a pervasive issue. While our Ambassadors do everything they can to remove graffiti in a timely manner, there are certain types of vandalism we cannot address, such as etchings or acid on windows. While the graffiti removal service by the City, APD, and the Downtown Action Team are always on the lookout, there are certain things you can do to protect yourself and your business: 1. Report graffiti before removal. Reporting and documenting distinguishable tags can help build cases against notorious taggers, provides the ability to garner a monetary amount for damages, and provides a record for data and for future cases. You can report easily- and anonymously- online at the below link. 2. Take photos! Again, this helps provide documentation and a record that could be helpful in locating renowned taggers. You can upload photos with your graffiti report on the below link as well! 3. A surveillance sign or camera (dummy or real) can be a great deterrent. It wont prevent all tags, but will prevent some.
