Grandma in Paris Guided tour at the Palace of Versailles. She thinks the men back then were a little light in the loafers wearing tights, wigs and heels. She bought a Marie Antoinette key chain but doesnt like that nasty business about her head getting chopped off. Our poor guide, Manuel, had to endure her correcting his very precise recount of historical events. I have a feeling he was correct and she was guessing on her Napoleon history. I have a headache because she has no less than 20 perfumes on her from shopping but can identify each one. We just left Marc Jacobs where she held court as usual. Its actually nice for me to be able to shop knowing there are a dozen people keeping an eye on her as she does her stage act. And yes, Im being forced to eat at the same restaurant for the 6th time so she can have shrimp fritters and creme brûlée.
