Grandsons kindergarten class had a Thanksgiving feast today. They didnt have anyone to shuck and cook the corn, so my daughter was kind enough to volunteer me and his dad to do the deed. Shucked my corn, cooked it and used creative thinking to get it back out to the car. I put the huge pot I cooked it in inside a clean Hefty bag, and I was able to carry it the car by the handles. Babysat while Michael, the kids dad, attended the feast, then we took the baby for his 1st haircut. Grandkids are here, as usual, on Friday night and Im already one very tired, but happy, grandma!!!
