Granted when I started to get tattoos I knew that there would be people who loved and complimented them (which is the reaction I get the majority of the time) but I also got them knowing good and well some people would also express their distaste for the way I look. This was half the point. You see my ink is not only an art Im proud to rock daily... Its not only an expression of different times in my life, things I love and am passionate about... The same as they are a window into who I am, they are also a shield for those I want to keep out. Anytime I get judged for being a tattooed female it instantly tells me all I need to know about that human doing the talking. It doesnt hurt my feelings... It opens my eyes to the fact that their opinion isnt one to be considered. They are judgmental, surface level people. Twice this week I have been told I am to pretty to have tattoos. I cant help but laugh not knowing whether they are attempting to insult or compliment me. Really I dont care either way. My tattoos are a mark of my soul, it can act as a window to see inside, but its also the shield that protects me from people who cant see past the surface I dont understand why people actually VOICE their opinion against tattoos, like Im going to say oh your right.. Let me go erase them lmao! Truth is... They are permanent. And I wouldnt change them if I could. If you have nothing nice to say.... Just keep your ignorant views to yourself. They arent welcome here. ✌️ Plus Im a lot more interesting to look at ... Hahaha 😊👍👍👍
