Graphic Designer (Glendale) compensation: $12-$15/Hr Creative Graphic Designer Job Description The Graphic Designer will report to the Art Director for daily projects while working on the production of internal and external communication and marketing materials. This is an opportunity for a talented and passionate individual who is interested in gaining experience as a graphic designer for a major Mens Apparel company. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional visual design and conceptual abilities as well as expert technical skills in Photoshop and Illustrator. Responsibilities Primarily develops and graphic materials for advertising and web use while maintaining the companys brand and visual graphic standards Assist in the development and design of strong visual materials for marketing purposes in order to drive sales traffic and business promotion Deliver designs in a timely manner and in keeping with the marketing / promotions calendar. Demonstrate a diversity of graphic styles across different lines of businesses and departments Effectively present design concepts and recommendations and execute them to support various departments in the company. Qualifications Microsoft Office, specifically Photoshop and Illustrator skills are a must Knowledge of print & web design requirements Extreme attention to detail, requiring careful proofreading of text and materials Ability to develop new and enticing brand images and icons to further promote the business Experience Apparel experience would be great. You will be evaluated on your creativity and technical skills. MUST provide a current online portfolio or submit work samples in low resolution JPGs. Since you would be working in the Apparel industry, we are particularly interested in seeing your work involving life style or fashion concepts.
