Gratitude Day 6: Google & YouTube: Thankful that I am born in this era where I can easily google or YouTube for anything n everything! Especially thankful when my budding artist decided draw on our beige colour leather sofa!!!! QUICK google n see how to remove ink from leather!!! I screamed! Woohoo!!!! Looks like many other mums had similar accidents. In less than 2 minutes I found the trick... HAIRSPRAY!!! No more need to RTFM (read the f%#* manual ... Oops!! Excuse me) Form 1 English teacher: She was ahead of her time by Malaysian standards back then (ok its looooong way back) I remember when she told us to prepare for Show n Tell we all gave her blank looks. Most of us were wondering which planet she came from... Isnt English all about grammar, spelling & comprehension? She used this activity to identify potential debating candidates... And I am so thankful that she encouraged me to debate n that built my confidence to speak in public, which years later served me well when I studied overseas cos I could hold my own and of course during my career as a marketer where we had lots of presentations at conferences.
