Gratitude Note: For a good test report. Today was a long one with CT Scan, lab, doctor and a four-hour maintenance treatment. The most important part was a ten minute scan review in our eleven hour day. Dr. Keller stared and stared at the screen and then turned to me to say, "Everything looks great!" I am finding the anticipation of tests and reports more suspenseful because we are moving from a degree of certainty of the treatment days toward the unknown -- now a year from completing my chemo. That enriches my gratitude for the reports and expands my appreciation for every new day. The experience is teaching me -- perhaps shaping me. Thanks be to God who is forever present and loving.
