I am grateful for 1) Mushie the protectress 2) Squishie the clown 3) Blossom the steadfast 4) Maccabee the loyal 5) Kyubi the pure Nature had taught me so much when I stop to really observe and learn. My life has been blessed by the these five magical beings that have come at pivotal points in our lives. They are feral, pet store adopted, breeder wait listed........ Each of them teaching me more about life than I ever realized there was to learn and giving more than love I can ever hope to return. In my life time, we also had other fur babies (shelter adopted too) Oreo, Meow, Peanut, Bubbles, Mary Kay & Ash. Some gone on to other families and some over the rainbow bridge. Funny how I still feel their love even now. I was once told as a young child that animals do not have souls. That never rang true to me. Looking into their eyes I can sometimes see infinity and the divine if I am paying attention.
