Gratitude Sereis #20 I just want to share with everyone this precious flying Vajra Yogini that came all the way back from Nepal. It was one of the many beautiful treasured gifts from Tsem Rinpoche to me but this is one of those that I hold most precious because it marked the time when Rinpoche left for a pilgrimage to Nepal and we were uncertain when Rinpoche were coming back. If I am not mistaken it was in the year 2008 when Kechara Lounge Kathmandu was established. Rinpoche had gone to Nepal with a small team consisting JP, Beng Kooi, and Su Ming to set up our very first international visitor centre – Kechara Lounge, Nepal, at the same spot where the famous Boudhanath Stupa is located. While Rinpoche and the team was in Kathmandu, the team back in Malaysia was doing a lot of design work and printing big banners to send to Kathmandu to advertise the opening of our new Kechara Lounge. Rinpoche is always finding innovative ways to spread the Dharma. When Rinpoche finally came back, which was a few months later, Rinpoche presented this flying Vajra Yogini gift. I was speechless and at the same time extremely thrilled because Ive always wanted a flying Vajra Yogini. Not only did Rinpoche presented this lovely Vajra Yogini to me, Rinpoche also got me, a colleague and Justin Ripley to take a break and go to Kathmandu for a few days to visit the Ladrang and the Kechara lounge that was set up there. Rinpoche paid for our flights and even gave us spending money! I am so grateful to Rinpoche for being given the chance to participate in small way back in Malaysia Ladrang to help in the making of beautiful Kechara Lounge, and to be rewarded with a statue and trip, indeed I am fortunate to be doing Dharma work. Thank you Rinpoche for always showing us your care, affection and concern no matter where Rinpoche may be.
