Great Spirit, Almighty Healer and Creator of all things seen and unseen, it is with humbled hearts that we gather together as one to offer up many thanks. We thank you for the beauty of the colorful sunsets. We thank you for the signs that may came at times in the clouds, when we take time to observe. We thank you for the cool, wet sand as we walk along the shoreline. We thank you for the uniqueness of all things, and the knowledge that each product of your creation is special and singular to itself. We thank you for the rising tides made manifest by Grandmother Moon. We thank you for rising and setting of Grandfather Sun, reminding us of the sacredness of the Circle. We ask for continued healing for those that are suffering now. We ask for strength, comfort and peace be granted unto them. We ask for your hands to guide those of surgeons that are performing operations. We ask for your guidance at a time where there is so much confusion amid the darkness that surrounds us during these times. We ask for greater compassion to enter into the hearts of those that would normally turn away. We ask for plentiful harvests this year, so those that are hungry can be fed. We ask for an outpouring of love and sympathy toward the needy. We ask that they may be warmed during the cold nights, fed during days of hunger, and housing at a time where they are left in city streets. We ask for an end to the violence and abuse against our women and children. We ask for an end to the forced assimilation that still goes on today. We ask for integrity, honesty and humility to enter into the walls of our governments. We ask that they may begin to do the work they were asked to do, and not to use their position for wealth and power. We ask for an end to the greed that runs rampant throughout the four corners. We ask for an end to the materialism that has shifted its focus from you to the selfish desires of ourselves. We ask for the release of the innocent that still remain behind bars for crimes they did not commit. We ask for your guidance, strength and courage be granted to those that continue to stand against those that willfully bring destruction to your creation. We thank you for our Elders as they give us the necessary wisdom of past and present, as well as the lessons needed today and the future. We thank you for our children that continue to remind us of the innocence we have lost. We thank you for Mother Earth and all that she supplies us for our survival. We thank you for family and friends, and those that come to us for a short time to bring insight and guidance. We thank you for our daily food and ask for its blessing. We thank you for our thorns and our trials. We thank you for the paths you have placed before us, and the knowledge that all things have a purpose. Emenv
