Great Time What a great time we had at our family reunion this past week at the beach. We have been doing this for 30 years and it gets better and better. I truly thank the Lord for my family and the great time we all have together. My prayers are that all my family will get home safely. As I am reading (Joshua 10:8) it says; “The LORD said to Joshua, “Do not be afraid of them; I have given them into your hand. Not one of them will be able to withstand you.” Just like Joshua, who went into battle for his people, we need to know that the Lord is on our side in our daily battles of life. We have nothing to fear. I trust that the Lord will continue to watch over my family and my friends. The stakes in our lives may not be as large as were Joshua’s, but they are just as important to the Lord when we pray, and as we ask the Lord for our requests. I have come to realize that the Lord wants me to trust Him and not fear in the small areas of life in the same way. Are you letting the Lord fight your battles, or are you facing them all alone? The Lord promises to give us courage when we allow Him to be in control.
