“Great Week” 5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2013 I stayed at Wahoo from 8/19 to 8/26/13, while I was speaking at a leadership conference. I have stayed at Moulin sur Mer and Kaliko. Wahoo was, in my opinion the best of the three. It was clean, a/c was great, power 24/7, hot shower and my room was cleaned every day. The restaurant was great and food was wonderful. Try the steak au poivre, if you are there. It is great. I would highly recommend Wahoo. The beach is also the nicest of three, with a great swimming area and a sandy, rather than gravel beach. The price is similar to other beach resorts, but, overall, I would recommend Wahoo for vacation or business. Weekend mornings, they serve a very nice buffet breakfast. Many of the staff speak English and the staff was very nice and accommodating. If you are looking for a beach resort in Haiti, you would be hard pressed to beat this one. Transportation is just over an hour from the airport, and Wahoo is located right on National 1.
