Great day at MSR (Cresson) with LSTD on Friday. I didnt have a student assigned but got to work with a few people and then play a bit. For the LWE on Saturday, we ended up 10th overall, 6th in class (not official..maybe?). One mechanical issue threw us off a bit. The rear brake reservoir line had a hole rubbed in it and leaked brake fluid out while Terry Embury was out on the first stint. After cleaning it up, all was well. Really not bad for a bunch of over 40 fat dudes (ok, not fat Scott Martin or Terry) on a 250 cc bike. I had a blast during my stint. Jon Whitfill went by me and grabbed my butt (LOL) not long after I got out there. I decided to repay the favor by tapping him on the shoulder when I passed him going into Ricochet. He and I had a fun battle during our run. I think we passed each other back and forth 5-7 times. Laughing the whole time. Drive home was clear of traffic. Evan and Parker helped me unload everything and we were off to pool. Took me a while to loosen the legs up, but the water sure felt great. Got to spend a great Thursday evening, Friday and Saturday with friends at the track, participate in a great track day, race an endurance race, and get home in time to play with the family. Tomorrow, headed to the lake. 44 tomorrow and life is good. :-)
