Great day today. Aisha invited me, with the kind permission of her teacher Miss O`Connell, to bring in some of our instruments and make some noise! For 1 hour this morning, Oatlands Primary School became SCHOOL OF ROCK! I brought 4 guitars, 2 of them very rare (John Lennon`s Rickenbacker 325 & Brian May`s Red Special) + Aisha`s 6 string & my 12 string. We had an absolute blast. I gave the students a little history lesson on these iconic instruments before I launched into some tunes, and so proud that Aisha accompanied me on rhythm guitar with Crazy Little Thing Called Love. Here is a little video compilation of the songs we did today: Love Me Do, Happy Xmas (War is Over),Crazy Little Thing Called Love & We Will Rock You. The kids were amazing, I loved every minute, and some very happy memories made today for the Murphy Family.
