Great day yesterday at Heritage Pointe Baptist Church. Pastor Neal Brown delivered a great message on the Good Samaritan. We all need to more focused on the needs of others outside our walls. Then, last night, we heard an excellent presentation by Amy McMullin Walthour. She recently returned from a medical mission trip to Haiti. I realized when I got home that my dog eats better and has more toys than the children of Haiti. While I know we have families in need all around us and that we need to reach them, we cannot neglect the needs of uttermost. They need to see and hear the love of Christ that lives within us. We will never be able to effectively share the Gospel with them until we show them that we love them.
