Great days of hunting yesterday and today. Deer everywhere but within range. Did have 7 doe and fawn under the stand today. Another doe bedded down within 20 yards but in the thickets. Large 8 point (4 for Mike) bedded down behind her at 30 yards but still in the thickets. Had 6 turkeys pop out at 70+ yards. Nice 10 point yesterday but he was at 100 yards. Very exciting! If it were gun season, I would have filled my tag a lot sooner. Bow hunting is a blast and challenging. Hoping I can put lean non-steroidal meat in the freezer for my family.
