Great job to all who read Revelation Chapter 1 and paticipated in the discussion! Revelation is a word meaning unveiling or disclosure which indicates that that this book is a type of literature known as apocalyptic. The book contains a series of prophetic visions of the struggles and final victory of the Church. God reveals Himself as the Alpha and Omega, and the One who is, who was and who is to come. Be encouraged! God wants believers not to be afaid because He is the First and Last and the Living One, He lives forever and ever and holds the keys of death and Hell. We look forward to reading Revelation Chapter 2 with you on May 2nd!
