The Anointing is Caught and Not Bought......message God gave me to preach in 2000 July 13, 2014 at 12:36am Tuesday, January 18, 2000 The Anointing is Caught and Not Bought Jewelry...the Lord is saying be cautious about jewelry and make sure that it has nothing to do with the kingdom of darkness, snakes, demon faces, fire etc. Also where it came from: bad soul ties, birthstones, jewelry from one you had an affair with, witch, etc. Throw it away if in doubt. Get rid of it. Do you know that there are 12,00 demons after you? That is the count of a legion. Ido not believe that that is the demons name, it is the count of all the demons in the man and the answer to why the man was so deranged. Eccl 9:8 How to Get the Anointing Let your garments always be white, and let your head lack no oil. (NKJ). This scripture and many more like it points to where we need to live. Notice: no spots on the garments (or wrinkles). Your head lacking no oil, the anointing, the Holy Spirit. Exod 30:31-32 And you shall speak to the children of Israel, saying: This shall be a holy anointing oil to Me throughout your generations. It shall not be poured on mans flesh; nor shall you make any other like it, according to its composition. It is holy, and it shall be holy to you. (NKJ). This is the old covenant way of saying live in the spirit and not in the flesh. Note that the nation of Israel did not keep the holy anointing through their generations. Jesus Christ came to complete and provide the way to make this readily possible in the spirit. The anointing comes to those who have learned from the Holy Spirit how to live in the spirit. 2 Tim 2:20-26 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor. Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work. Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. But avoid foolish and ignorant disputes, knowing that they generate strife. And a servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient, in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth, and that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will. (NKJ). What is in your house or temple? What dishonors the Lord? Verse 21 says you must cleanse or purge yourselves from things that dishonor. Sanctified and useful to the Master. This is how you find your ministry. The junk comes out as you and your helper the Holy Spirit, gets the garbage out and you find your ministry standing there. The anointing also empowers you to do it. A pure heart is what God is after. A pure heart avoids snares and with spiritual eyes you can see the pits waiting for you. Notice the having been taken captive to do his will. This is a believer that is captured, chained, without a will to resist, compulsive. Any garbage that belongs to Satan gives him a footho ld within you. The anointing comes to those who readily allows the Holy Spirit to help you purge your heart from junk and filth. The result is a pure heart. Ps 119:1-9 Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD! Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, who seek Him with the whole heart! They also do no iniquity; they walk in His ways. You have commanded us to keep Your precepts diligently. Oh, that my ways were directed to keep Your statutes! Then I would not be ashamed, when I look into all Your commandments. Iwill praise You with uprightness of heart, when I learn Your righteous judgments. I will keep Your statutes; Oh, do not forsake me utterly! How can a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your word. (NKJ) Please read the entire Psalm. This is the washing of the Word and the power of the Word under the second anointing. Notice verse 9, cleansing your way is done in front of you, not mopping up behind you after the mess is there. The Word is a lamp unto our feet so we do not stumble, but you cannot be blind and carry the lamp. It does not work that way. Num 11:8 The people went about and gathered it, ground it on millstones or beat it in the mortar, cooked it in pans, and made cakes of it; and its taste was like the taste of pastry prepared with oil. (NKJ) Tasted like it was prepared with oil and tasted like pastry. They did not make pastry, it tasted like pastry with oil. Oil is the anointing that enhances the Word of God , which is manna every morning. When you are purged, the Word tastes great, it calls your name, it has power, and it changes you powerfully. When you started reading the Word in the flesh, it tasted like cardboard and reading was tough. Keep going and do not stop. After the cardboard taste goes away comes the taste of pastry with oil. You will not want anything else but the Word of God. The letter kills the spirit but the spirit gives life. Pray as you read if reading is tough. Deut 32:13 He made him ride in the heights of the earth, that he might eat the produce of the fields; he made him to draw honey from the rock, and oil from the flinty rock; (NKJ). Other versions say suck honey out of the rock. Bees made their honey stash in rocks and trees in that part of the world. Flinty rock is where the olive trees grew, right in the rocks. When the Word started to become alive to me, l drew out of the word., I believe that God is saying that the honey and the oil has to be drawn out of the Word. You work at it, past the cardboard, the boredom, the distractions, and the tiredness. All of Gods promises about His Word are there. The truth has to be pursued. Anything you get for free is worthless. Job 29:6 When my steps were bathed with cream, and the rock poured out rivers of oil for me! (NKJ). Please read this entire chapter and see how Job lived. He lived the Word. Notice again, that butter or cream is the riches of Gods Word. The riches of Gods Word is the lamp unto our feet. Go and walk in butter, you can see your footsteps and they are rich. Rivers of oil for Job and for you. Go for it and get rivers! Buttery footsteps are easier to follow. Follow an anointed man or women and what do they tell you. They can pray for you and you have a temporary anointing. You can run back for another one. But they will tell you how they got theirs and tell you to get your own anointing! !King 19:19 So he departed from there, and found Elisha the son of Shaphat, who was plowing with twelve yoke of oxen before him, and he was with the twelfth. Then Elijah passed by him and threw his mantle on him. (NKJ). Plowing is praying. Put your hand to the plow and do not look back etc. There is a lot of plowing in Gods Word. Praying with 12 yoke of oxen is hard praying. No lay me down to sleep prayers. Elisha was a man of prayer. Elijah will throw his mantle on you. You will get an anointing. When is up to God. This teaching is how to get it not when you get it. Keep plowing and you will get a mantle. It is for all flesh. Hosea 10:11 Ephraim is a trained heifer that loves to thresh grain; but I harnessed her fair neck, I will make Ephraim pull a plow. Judah shall plow; Jacob shall break his clods. (NKJ). As you read about Ephraim and Judah, you will see that Judah was called to pray. You break ground with prayer, especially fallow ground. Ground that has not been used and is hard. Break that part of your heart that is hard. You plow with praise. Untended soil soon yields a field of weeds and briars. Eccl 10:1 Dead flies putrefy the perfumers ointment , and cause it to give off a foul odor; so does a little folly to one respected for wisdom and honor. (NKJ). Flies are demons and absent ones. Do not talk of them and give any honor or mention. This causes the anointing to flee. You will see this at a meeting where the presence of God is there. Talk about the devil and the Spirit of God leaves. Do not mess around with the anointing. Matt 25:1-12 1 Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2 Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish. 3 Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, 4 but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. 5 But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept. 6 And at midnight a cry was heard: Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him! 7 Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. 8 And the foolish said to the wise, Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out. 9 But the wise answered, saying, No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves. 10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut. 11 Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us! 12 But he answered and said, Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you. (NKJ) All the virgins had lamps (the Word). The foolish let their oil disappear . It can dry up from not using it, it can leak out from sin, it can be allowed to burn out slowly and the lamp holder does not notice the oil is gone for the wick is still burning. The virgins were not virgins prior to the transforming power of God that touched them. The power of God changed them into spiritual virgins. Oil was needed to go to the wedding. A lamp was not enough. Unsaved people read the Word and it by itself do not get them to the wedding . Then He does not know you without your oil. Your lamp must be lit. It does not get lit and stay that way by itself. They trimmed their wicks . Wicks are the minds of the believers. Minds must be renewed to get fresh oil everyday. Your Bible will lose its light if you do not have oil. IJn 2:27 27 But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him. (NKJ). The anointing stays with you. The anointing is hearing from God and He is teaching you. You are no longer a babe but a man and you hear the voice of the Shepherd. You have the anointing, the butter, the honey, the power of God, His voice, signs and wonders and the Word is/ has become you life and very being. You can abide in the secret place of the Most High. Awesome is the Lord our God and greatly to be praised. See 2 Cor 1:21. See Lev chapter 14 and you will see the Oil you received when you were saved. See Lev chapter 6 vs. 12 and 13 for the priestly anointing where you receive your ministry and your service to God. Then there is the Kingly anointing ( 1 Sam 16) where this anointing crushes Satan completely. Joel chapter 2 describes the awesome is the army you have jo ined with the second anointing, well-polished troops, restoration is with them. Visions, etc are common. Joel 2:28-29 28 And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy , your old men shall dream dreams , your young men shall see visions. 29 And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days. (NKJ). Notice that the sheep receive the anointing first then the church leaders. This is now happening. There are three anointings in the old covenant (leprous, priestly and the kingly) and three anointings in the new covenant. What then is the benefit of the second anointing? You are equipped and receive your ministry and place of service. This is not a fixed place of office of service. You are hearing from God, the Word is powerful and jumps out at you. The Word is powerful and life changing to you. The presence of God is constant, the Holy Ghost is with you. Dreams and visions are common. Your steps are directed by the Lord and the lamp that is at your feet is brightly lit. Healings and deliverances are common with you and with those you pray for. Signs and wonders follow you.
