Great meeting tonight everyone despite the circumstances. Yes, the park will close just after July 4 weekend, and be closed for approx. 7 weeks. But the mayor and the construction guys were very helpful. Were going to use another area with temp street stuff (TBD in a meeting with NYS), AND the bowls will be open on Sundays and possibly Saturdays. Well be in contact with the construction company and be posting here and sending emails out with the schedule. It also looks like were going to be able to repair the coping, concrete and drains in the bowls while the park is closed, but we need to get a firm quote first, which Im working on as we speak (or type and read, rather). There is also the beginning conversations of an expansion...but thats very preliminary. Skate hard while you can. Brian FNSP
