Great, more car trouble. Maybe someone can clue me in the right direction (experienced advice only please)... Sitting at a stop light a little bit ago, I lost my instrument cluster - no speedometer, no fuel gage, etc. Truck is still running fine. Im close to home, so I return. Sitting in the driveway, deciding if I should leave it running, or kill it. It starts to idle roughly. I try giving it some gas, without much luck. Eventually it dies, and wont restart (zilch, like a dead battery, but its not dead). Meanwhile, while typing this, I try again. Now I get the repetitive clicking noise, but it wont turn over. Instrument cluster appears to be working (nothing to gauge, but the needles all jump a little). So, opinions? First thing that comes to mind for me is the ECU.
