Great news/experiment a success! Yesterday we reached our crowd funding goal of $37,000 raised to fund/install 275 new bike racks around the city. The racks were designed via a completion and this entire project was done in a partnership between the City of JC, BikeJC, and SustainableJC. We are the first to try this crowd funding model for a government initiative like this and glad to see that it worked.
