Great news from Maryland - Gov. Martin OMalley signed legislation on Tuesday that lifts the inherently dangerous legal stigma from pit bulls in Maryland. After two years of a lot of work, this legislation undoes a poorly thought out breed specific Court ruling (Tracey v. Solesky) that had targeted pit bulls with a breed-specific liability on dog owners, custodians, and landlords. We extend gratitude to every participant who stayed committed and firm during this long and often frustrating process - justice prevailed and educated minds got the job done. Thank you!
