Great opportunity with a great locally owned company posting for a friend email resume to: vacationmgmt@outlook P/T Vacation Rental Mgmt, Customer Service/Reservations (Salem, OR) compensation: $11-13/hr, DOE, part-time part-time POSITION: Customer Service & Reservation Specialist for Local Vacation Rental Management Company DUTIES: * Answer phones & talk with clients * Develop excellent knowledge of different rentals and descriptions and be able to assist clients in choosing a property * Learn reservation software and make rental reservations * Schedule maintenance & necessary repairs * Work with customers and assist with any issues or complaints that come up * Daily email correspondence with clients and responses to inquiries * Other general office administrative duties SKILLS: Computer: Candidate must be extremely comfortable with computers/technology and must be proficient Microsoft Word, the Internet & email. Job requires learning industry specific software/program. Additionally Microsoft Excel experience and any graphic design software or social media/marketing knowledge is a plus. Personal: Customer service minded individual is key. Attention to detail is a must. Ideal candidate is outgoing, positive, self-motivated and able to work without constant supervision. Candidate must be customer service oriented with excellent phone and problem solving skills with 1 yr min experience in customer service and customer relations. Good grammar, writing skills, and a marketing/sales mentality are very important Additional Skills: A marketing background, knowledge of building, real estate, or property management industries are a plus. HOURS: Part time: 23-27 hrs per week Flexible but set schedule; some weekends (Sat & Sun) required Job-share position SALARY: $11-13/hr depending on experience
