Great performances today by the Bedizzole Marching Band in Cobh and later in the Rebel Parade in Cork city. Tomorrow the band will perform prior to the 12 Noon Mass where 150 bonnets will be blessed in memory of the convict women and their children lost on the Neva. The band will parade to the Heritage Centre after Mass where these bonnets will be placed on permanent display. There is a good chance that the band from the Russian corvette will perform in the Promenade at 2 pm and this will be followed by the Cobh Confraternity Band at 3 pm. At 7 pm tomorrow night there will be a free farewell concert featuring Cobh talent in the Commodore Hotel and everyone is welcome to attend.
