The store on the opposite corner in the picture is now a Ralph Lauren store phonied up to look like an original store on the LES. Now the movie makers have taken it over for the next month and made it look like a an original store from the heyday of the Lower East Side!. What goes around comes around. Take a tour of the Lower East Side with Ben Bagel and let him show you whats left of the original real Lower East Side. AND, if you go on tour with him during the next month, you will get a glimpse of Hollywoods version of the LES. Who knows - you may even see some film stars!
