Great quote from Cedrick Harris today: LOL... boy I tell ya, even some of the veterans in our game dont get it. What you focus on expands. Keep hating, bashing, and posting about particular companies on your wall that you hate. All youre doing is putting more eyes on it, thats all. You think youre the mlm police... LOL. 2 funny... totally hillarious. Last time I checked, majority of the people who post this stuff are afraid because their losing people in their downline to the company. Focus on you, your team, and your culture. I agree 100%. Last month I decided that -- in order to reach my goals -- I needed to make some changes and I started a new team in a different company. And, in order to do that in the LEAST disruptive way possible, I actually removed thousands of people from my marketing list who were in that company.....and put them on a separate list that would NOT receive any marketing messages from me. Result? I got crucified by some of my friends in that company. Why? Because rather than realize that I was PROTECTING their teams and affiliates in that company by segmenting my list....I was accused of segmenting my list just to TARGET them. No good deed goes unpunished, apparently, huh? And, heres the real point: Its ALL FEAR! It was all imagination. I hadnt done anything to warrant their attitude....it was all fear-based. To this date, none of those people have ever received a single email from me promoting my new opportunity. Not one. Ive still got a great income in that company. And Ive done nothing to diminish my income there or the incomes of anyone else there. Heck, Im still hosting team training calls and webinars for them. But when youre the #1 person on the Leaderboard and you decide to do something else....you find out pretty quickly who your friends are. Heres the best part, though: because i held my head high and moved with integrity and dignity... ...a lot of the people who blocked me and unfriended me are now emailing to find out how the heck weve made over $90,000 in our first calendar month with this company. And guess what? Im happy to hear from them. Because unlike the haters.....I stopped treating MLMs like religion. If someone wants to quit, theyre going to quit. If someone wants to join, theyre going to join. Your downline are not employees. Nor are they your children. Theyre entrepreneurs. And theyre going to do whatever they feel is best for their own goals. You haters need to stop trying to control people and start understanding that. Like Cedrick said, some of you have been in this industry long enough that you should this stuff without being told.
