Great (short) article in the Chronicle about why Prop G is wrong for San Francisco. The Chronicle, by the way, endorsed No on G. Supporters of the tax say Prop. G is about protecting San Franciscans. Yet, this measure has zero protections for seniors, or families who face illness or job loss and might need to sell their property. And while supporters of Prop. G often say it is about affordable housing, not one cent of the new tax revenues is obligated to go toward housing.
