Great spark for this young girl!! Love Leann We live in NYC where the majority of the United States feel that New Yorkers are cold and unkind. I truly beg to differ though. My daughter fell off the monkey bars at the playground today. I was with her little friends baby brother on the toddler side of the park. Her little friend came running over to tell us that my daughter had fallen. I was running over when a total stranger was walking my daughter to me. We could all tell by looking that her wrist was badly broken. This wonderful woman stayed with my daughter and I until the ambulance took us away. She held her hand while I held my daughter. She told my daughter that she could squeeze her hand as hard as she wanted while the EMTs stabilized her wrist. Another generous New Yorker came over with ice to put on her wrist while we waited for the EMTs. The strength of the people who surrounded us today friends and strangers a like are what gave me the strength to stay strong for my daughter. Without the sparks of these people I dont think I could have done it. God truly put some wonderful New Yorkers in our path today. It also goes to show that sparks do not always take money just a kind heart and the courage to use it.
